IABC NSW is the local chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators, a global professional development organisation and network of over 15000 practitioners.

IABC have just announced a new service for members providing access to resources in an online library of Knowledge Centre resources for a set annual fee.

As the volume of IABC resources has grown over recent years, it has been harder to find everything available to members – and harder to determine the value of member only resources.

Sinickas, the leading voice on communication measurement will present a half day workshop hosted by IABC, in conjunction with Ogilvy and St George on August 3 in Sydney. I’m looking forward to this event, which will be excellent value for IABC members!

May is ideas month in Sydney.

The countdown is on to this years Happiness and its causes conference in Sydney, May 5 & 6. My wife is a mental health professional and this event bridges our two worlds – corporate and health. It will be exciting to experience the lineup of speakers together, and with the date approaching there is increasing coverage through the sites twitter feed.

The second half of May sees the TEDxSydney event roll into Carriageworks on 22 May. The notifications for the lucky participants were due to be released today, but have been delayed to the end of the week due to overwhelming interest.
